This Privacy Policy describes how SubKeep (“Extension”, “Service”) handles information.

SubKeep is designed to operate entirely within the user’s browser and does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers.

1. Overview

SubKeep operates locally within your browser environment. We do not operate backend infrastructure, analytics systems, or data collection services in connection with the Extension.

Your privacy is fundamental to the architecture of SubKeep.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, process, or transmit any of the following:

  • Google account information;
  • Google Keep notes or content;
  • Labels or metadata from Google Keep;
  • Email addresses;
  • IP addresses;
  • Device identifiers;
  • Usage analytics;
  • Cookies;
  • Tracking data;
  • Any personally identifiable information.

SubKeep does not communicate with external servers.

3. Local Storage

SubKeep uses the browser-provided chrome.storage.local API to store limited configuration data necessary for functionality.

This data:

  • Is stored locally within your browser profile;
  • Is not transmitted to us;
  • Is not accessible to us;
  • Is not stored on any external server operated by us.

Stored data may include:

  • Label configuration created within the Extension;
  • User interface state (e.g., expanded or collapsed sections);
  • Selected label identifiers;
  • Nested label relationships.

If you uninstall the Extension, this locally stored data may be removed by the browser.

4. Interaction with Google Keep

SubKeep interacts with Google Keep solely through browser-level interface modification (DOM interaction).

The Extension:

  • Does not access Google servers directly;
  • Does not intercept network traffic;
  • Does not bypass authentication mechanisms;
  • Does not alter Google account permissions.

All interactions occur within the context of your authenticated browser session.

5. Third-Party Services

SubKeep does not integrate with:

  • Analytics providers;
  • Advertising networks;
  • Cloud storage providers;
  • Tracking services;
  • Payment processors.

If the Service model changes in the future to include such integrations, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

6. Data Security

Because SubKeep does not transmit or store user data externally, data security is primarily dependent on:

  • The security of your browser;
  • The security of your device;
  • The security practices of Google Keep.

We are not responsible for vulnerabilities outside the Extension’s local operation.

7. Children’s Privacy

SubKeep is not intended for use by children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
